It is finally here. Yes Friday. But more importantly tomorrow is the opening day of Bow Season, the day that my husband, my son and a host of men and some women look so forward to.

My intention for this blog is to always provide you with a word of inspiration along with scriptures to help us through our daily lives. The scripture that comes to my mind today of course is Psalm 42:1 “As the deer longs for streams of water, so I long for you, O God.”

If you study deer or any animal in the wild, you will soon discover that when that animal becomes thirsty it begins a deliberate quest to find water. Nothing can stop or distract it. They have one and only one thing in mind, find water and find it now. And when they find their salvation, that animal will sink its head into that cool stream, forgetting everything else around him.

Which led me to ask, when was the last time I was that intentional about finding the Living Water with such a reckless abandon? When was the last time you were on that quest? If it has been a while let’s purpose together to begin our deliberate quest to find the Living Water as if it was a matter of life or death, because it is. I promise when we seek Him with a whole heart He will be found. And nothing or no one will satisfy our souls or quench your thirst like Jesus!

Please click on the comment and let me and those reading this blog know we're not alone. There is strength in numbers. The Bible tells us God has raised us up together to sit in heavenly places… let’s do this thing called life together!

Happy Hunting,

p.s. I have to leave you with the text my husband received this morning from a fellow hunter.
“Tomorrow…Tomorrow… I love you, Tomorrow…You’re only a Doe away.”
