I can remember trying to run things myself b/c my husband always let me. When we started our marriage I came in virtually debt free with no credit cards and he had three. Over the years I was always the one who he would ask me "can we afford it" putting me as the primary decision maker, I would always say yes to appease him b/c I thought that was the thing to do. After yrs of making bad decisions we have now realized he should have been playing an active role in all our financial decisions, etc. For yrs I have been the one making decisions about where we worship and God has allowed the bad decisions to move us into His plan which has left my husband ultimately in charge and I love it. Now that my husband has realized he should be making decisions regarding our spiritual life and our finances it has made such a difference in our marriage. This proves God's plan is always the right way because when things are in order with God's plan there is unity!
